Operations Research:

  • Robust Ordinal Regression. Extensions of the UTA-Method (in cooperation mit Salvatore Greco und Roman Slowinski).
  • Value Focused Thinking (in cooperation with Ralph Keeney).
  • Dominance Rough Set Theory (in cooperation with Salvatore Greco, Roman Slowinski, and Benedetto Mattarazzo).
  • WebAIM: An Online Aspiration-level Interactive Method (possibly in cooperation with Stanley Zionts).
  • Portfolio Decision Analysis (in cooperation with Stefan Wegener).
  • Modelling of (bipolar) interactions, Aggregated Performance Factor Model.
  • Manifesto for DM-DSS Interactions (in cooperation Salvatore Corrente, Simon French, Salvatore Greco, Milosz Kadzinski, Joshua Knowles, Vincent Mousseau and Roman Slowinski).

 

Operations Management:

  • Horizontal supplier organizations, especially in healthcare (in cooperation with Jörg Schlüchtermann and Felix Piper).
  • Vertical supplier cooperation, especially in healthcare (in cooperation with Jörg Schlüchtermann and Felix Piper).

2009 Award of the city of Bayreuth 2009 for the best phd thesis. (For this award every faculty of the University of Bayreuth nominates its best PdD thesis. Three out of more than 300 PhD thesis overall obtain this award).
2008 Zertificate „Hochschullehre Bayern“ for exellent teaching.
2003 Finalist of the “CEO of the future” competition, organized by the German Manager Magazine and McKinsey. (20 out of 4000 participants had reached the final).
